Data Deletion Policy
Summary: Users may request deletion of their Solver7 account and personal data. We may retain limited records where required for legal, tax, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, refund, or dispute-resolution purposes.
1. Purpose
This Data Deletion Policy explains how users can request deletion of their Solver7 account and personal information, and how Axiom Analytics handles such requests.
2. What can be deleted
Subject to verification and applicable law, users may request deletion of:
- Account profile information.
- Login and contact details associated with the Solver7 account.
- Learning history linked to the account.
- Saved generated papers or account-specific generated outputs, where technically feasible.
- Ask AI history linked to the account, where stored and technically feasible.
- Support records that are not required for legal, financial, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.
3. Information we may retain
We may retain limited information even after deletion where necessary for:
- Tax, accounting, invoicing, and statutory record-keeping.
- Payment, refund, chargeback, and transaction verification.
- Security logs, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, and account misuse investigation.
- Legal compliance, regulatory requests, or dispute resolution.
- Backup systems for a limited period until backups are overwritten in the normal course.
- Aggregated, anonymised, or de-identified analytics that do not identify the user.
4. Portal usage data
Solver7 collects portal usage data such as feature usage, question access patterns, paper generation activity, explanation mode usage, and interaction flows. We use this data to improve user experience, platform performance, content quality, and learning outcomes. When an account is deleted, we may delete or de-identify account-linked usage data. Aggregated or anonymised insights may continue to be used for product improvement.
5. How to request account or data deletion
Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line “Data Deletion Request – Solver7” and include:
- Registered email address or mobile number.
- Name of the account holder.
- Specific request: account deletion, learning history deletion, AI history deletion, or correction of data.
- Any payment/order details if the deletion request relates to a paid subscription.
6. Verification
To protect users, we may verify the identity of the requester before deleting or modifying data. We may ask for confirmation from the registered email address or mobile number, or request additional information reasonably necessary to verify ownership of the account.
7. Processing timeline
We aim to acknowledge deletion requests within 7 business days and complete eligible deletion requests within 30 calendar days after successful verification. Complex requests, legal holds, technical limitations, or high request volumes may require additional time, in which case we will inform the requester where reasonably possible.
8. Effect of deletion on active subscription
Deleting an account may permanently remove access to an active subscription, saved content, usage history, generated papers, and learning preferences. Account deletion does not automatically create a refund unless the refund request qualifies under the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
9. Backup deletion
Deleted data may remain in encrypted or restricted backups for a limited period until such backups are overwritten or purged according to our backup cycle. Backup data is not used for ordinary business purposes after deletion from active systems.
